Hi, I am Casey Smith.

I'm a freelance photographer in Charleston, SC. but I'm a Georgia girl at heart.

Like many photographers I got hooked on photography in high school working with 35mm film and developing prints in the darkroom. I then attended Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta where I learned various forms and techniques of photography and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Photography. After graduating I worked as a freelance photographer in various fields.

My commercial work has been used for promotional and editorial purposes in newspapers, magazines, websites and social media sites. I also provide family portraits, newborn portraits, and bridal and engagement photographs as well as photographing weddings. I love to capture the emotion of a moment and share it with others whether it's a wedding photo, a fun family portrait or a moment of action up on the stage.

I also have a passion for fine art photography such as travel photography, landscape and nature photography. I love to capture the world around me with my camera and share those experiences with others so they can see the world through my eyes.
